iPhone 16 Makes Grand Debut in Hubballi, MLA Abbayya Leads Launch
Hubballi: The highly anticipated iPhone 16 series was launched today in Hubballi at a ceremony held at the I-Central Apple Store in Vidyanagar, Hubballi. Prasad Abbayya, Hubballi-Dharwad East MLA and Chairman Karnataka Slum Development Board, officially introduced the new series to the twin cities market.
The iPhone 16 lineup, released simultaneously across India, includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16+, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The series boasts several new features and significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, particularly in the Pro models.
Nikhil Jain, owner of the I-Central Apple Store, revealed that the new iPhones have already garnered an excellent response, as many as 80 customers pre-booking their devices. He said due to shortage of stock from the company, only first 50 customers who booked the premium phones will be able to buy it.
He highlighted that the I-Central Apple Store is the sole authorized Apple outlet in North Karnataka, offering the full range of Apple products at competitive prices.
One notable addition to the color options is the new “Desert Titanium” finish available for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models. The series offers storage capacities ranging from 128 GB to 1 TB, catering to various user needs.
Despite the upgrades, Apple has maintained pricing similar to the iPhone 15 series, with costs ranging from ₹80,000 to ₹1.85 lakh.
At the launch event, MLA Prasad Abbayya praised the iPhone brand, stating, “iPhone is renowned not only in India but globally, and is particularly loved by the youth for its superior quality. The newly launched iPhone 16, with its advanced technology, is sure to win the hearts of everyone.”
The ceremony was also attended by I-Central Apple’s owner Sanket Jain, Ramesh Kempa, Apple Karnataka Head, Dr. M. C. Sindhur, and others were present.
Dr. M.C. Sindhur: First Customer of iPhone 16 Series
Renowned physician Dr. M.C. Sindhur became the first person to purchase a phone from the new iPhone 16 series at the launch event. He acquired the iPhone 16 Pro, having placed his order when pre-orders opened.
Dr. Sindhur shared that this is his fourth iPhone, demonstrating his loyalty to the brand. He expressed his appreciation for the iPhone, particularly highlighting its robust security system as a key feature he values.
“I’ve been using iPhones for years now, and this is my fourth one,” Dr. Sindhur stated. “What I love most about iPhones is their robust security system. It gives me peace of mind, especially when handling sensitive information.”
